Conquest Racing will be taking on Sebring International Raceway for the penultimate round of the Pirelli GT4 America Championship season, once again fielding a double entry with the likes of Michai Stephens and Jesse Webb in the #34 JMF Motorsports | Farrow Mercedes-AMG GT4 in the Silver class, with Custódio Toledo and Cédric Sbirrazzuoli returning with the #35 Zuri Mercedes-AMG GT4 in the PRO-AM Class. This round will be especially action-packed, as this round will feature three races over the course of the weekend.
Conquest Racing has seen a great deal of success at Sebring in the past, proving their strengths across the old-school track as the team secured both race wins in 2021 in dominant fashion, and followed it up with another victory in 2022 as well.
Stephens and Webb had an excellent performance in the previous round at Road America, clinching a pole position and the win in Race 1 as they drove to victory in expert fashion. They currently occupy second place in the Silver class championship standings, and will be looking for another strong weekend as they enter the closing stages of the year.
“It’s time for us to tackle the most challenging weekend on the calendar,” said Michai Stephens. “Sebring alone is no joke, but when you add an additional race to the schedule it gets even tougher. Thankfully there is still a lot to play for as we continue to step forward with optimism and grit. The JMF Motorsport / Conquest Racing Mercedes AMG GT4 team and I are geared up to bring our best effort!”
“I am super excited for this weekend,” exclaimed Jesse Webb. “A triple header will come with an additional set of challenges for the field, but our JMF Motorsports / Conquest Racing team is ready to take them on. This is an important weekend for our championship fight and we’re all looking to do everything we can to capitalize on opportunities and collect every valuable point we can get.”
Additionally, Custódio Toledo and Cédric Sbirrazzuoli are preparing for their second round together as a driver pairing. The teammates had a challenging weekend at Road America but have established a strong foundation to build upon for the remaining races.
“ I’m happy to be back in the car this week end especially in Sebring as it’s one of my favorite track in the United States,” said Cédric. “ We have three races this weekend as we have to catch up the one that was cancelled in NOLA. It will be an interesting challenge as I believe we will start from the back of the pack as I wasn’t there for qualifying for that event.”
The penultimate round of the season will commence with the first practice session on Thursday, September 21st at 5:15 PM ET. Practice 2 will occur on Friday, September 22nd, at 12:00 PM ET. The first of three races, serving as the make-up race from earlier in the season at NOLA Motorsports Park, will follow on Friday afternoon at 5:00 PM ET.
The qualifying sessions will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 10:20 AM ET, followed by Race 1 later in the day at 5:00 PM CT. The weekend will conclude with Race 2 on Sunday, September 24th, at 10:55 AM ET. The races will be broadcast live on GT World’s YouTube channel.
