After completing six thrilling rounds across the continent in the Ferrari Challenge North America championship, Conquest Racing arrived in Nevada for the final event of the 2024 season, racing in support of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. It was a highly successful race weekend for the team, accumulating one victory and three further podium finishes.
The team had a presence across multiple categories of competition, with Dave Musial Jr. and Logan Broughton racing in the Trofeo Pirelli class in their respective #31 and #76 Ferrari 296 Challenge entries, joined by Dave Musial in the Pirelli-AM class on board the #30 car. Melissa Kozyra and Roy Carroll fielded the #108 and #121 machines in the Coppa Shell-AM division, completing the lineup for the event. With five cars in total on the grid, Conquest Racing was the team with the largest number of entries.
As the drivers took over the 3.8-mile, 17-turn highly technical street circuit on the Las Vegas strip, their efforts were rewarded. In Race 1, the team made their mark by securing a 1-2 finish in the Coppa Shell-AM category, as Carroll and Kozyra took the checkered flag in first and second place. They completed phenomenal drives, with their controlled and confident approaches enabling them to claim the top spots as they excelled in what was a very turbulent race.
Race 2 saw the group add another two podium results to their tally. Notably, Kozyra had another strong showing as she secured back-to-back second-place finishes. Meanwhile, Dave Musial Jr. was in podium contention lap after lap, going wheel to wheel with other competitors throughout the narrow circuit. On the final lap, he was able to move up into podium position, claiming third place as he crossed the finish line.
As the team closed out their 2024 calendar year on track, they are eagerly awaiting the approach of the 2025 Ferrari Challenge North America season, with new opportunities for success just over the horizon.
