Conquest Racing With Ferrari has been hard at work throughout the course of the Roar Before The 24 at Daytona International Speedway, continuing to fine-tune their #34 Corsa Horizon Ferrari 296 GT3 ahead of the opening round of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship season. In their search for another podium finish, Manny Franco, Daniel Serra, Cédric Sbirrazzuoli, and Giacomo Altoè have been collaborating closely, with the help of the attentive crew members, to improve the balance and set up of the car.
“The work we’ve done together as a team this week has been great,” said Manny Franco. “We’ve all been pushing hard to maximize the car’s potential, and I think we’ve made good progress. It’s been great to get to know Daniel and Giacomo more and work alongside them, and to have Cédric return to the team again. I feel like we’re in a good place heading into next weekend, and I’m confident we have the tools to be competitive.”
“We have been testing out a lot of different things,” added Daniel Serra. “We have learned a lot over the past few days, and now it’s time to put everything together to prepare for the next weekend. So far it has been very good, and I’m very happy to be back with the team again. We did two races together in GTD PRO last year, but this time around it’s nice to be here for the full season. I’m really looking forward to doing all the races with them, and I’ve greatly enjoyed my experience with the team.”
“I think the Roar was pretty productive,” Cédric Sbirrazzuoli agreed. “We have tried a lot of different things on the car, and we’re going to test out some more in the days before the race itself. Overall, I think it was a good effort from the team. Now we’ll need to wait and see what the weather forecast says, because this past week has mostly been dry conditions.”
“I’m happy with my driving and what we have been able to do so far with the car,” he continued. “The atmosphere within the team is super great. Manny, Daniel, Giacomo, and myself all get along extremely well, which is a good bonus. I’m looking forward to the Rolex 24.”
“Since the very first session during the Roar, we have been focusing primarily on the setup with all the drivers so we can find a solution we’re all happy with,” Giacomo Altoè explained. “We have been putting in a lot of work, and everyone on the team has been doing a great job. I’m really happy with how we’ve all been working together and the direction we are taking. We’re keeping an eye on the weather, but we want to be ready for everything. I’m feeling really confident for next week and I can’t wait.”
The on-track action resumes on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 as the team prepares for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
